This newsletter is featuring Joe Skinner. Joe Skinner, who is 53 years old, was born and raised in Gallatin Valley on a cattle ranch just north of Belgrade. He attended and graduated from Manhattan High School and went on to college where he graduated from MSU with a Business degree in Fish and Wildlife Management. He has been married to his lovely wife JoJo for 33 years now and together they have two children, Luke and Jake Skinner. Luke Skinner is a StaffSgt. in the 82nd Airborne US Army. Jake Skinner is married and has a daughter.

For 25 years Joe Skinner farmed and ranched. He ran a cow/calf beef operation and also grew alfalfa hay and seed potatoes. Joe said, "I worked for 25 years ruining my hearing and know I have a job where hearing is absolutely essential!"

Joe Skinner is currently a Gallatin County Commissioner, spending most of his time in meetings. These meeting can range from one on one to small groups or even large gatherings and they are held anywhere from outside to small rooms and even large open meeting rooms. Joe said, "Listening and hearing are critical to performing my job. I don't believe I could do my job effectively without the help I get from my VOZ hearing aids."

Yet Joe soon realized that he was not only missing important things on the job, he was also missing simple pleasures of life. Joe said that soon after getting his hearing aids he remarked to his wife JoJo, "Can you believe the racket those birds are making outside this morning?" She said, "Joe, the birds are that loud every morning." Joe told us, "I've really enjoyed hearing some of those little things that I didn't even realize I was missing."

Joe also stated, "The staff at Hearing Aid Institute has always been extremely helpful and available to answer questions or do adjustments when needed."

All of us here at Hearing Aid Institute would like to thank Joe Skinner for his support and congratulate him, because now he can hear the beauty of life!

MIRACELL

To give you more comfort when wearing your hearing aids we recommend that you use MiraCell, an all-natural skin serum, which is proving highly effective in helping restore and maintain your hearing aids.

Today, many ears that hearing professionals see using video otoscopy are healthy enough to comfortably wear hearing aids. Why? Because the ear canals of most patients lack the protective keratin layer of tissue, leaving their ear canals susceptible to yeast, fungus, bacteria, and pseudomonas. Using cotton swabs incorrectly to clean your ears can actually harm the keratin layer in your ear canal. By taking preventative measures before your hearing and fitting, you can better insure a comfortable and successful experience when you wear your new aids.

In observations of 960 patients over a 20-month period, Dr. Chartrand found the following:

  • Miracell helps sooth irritated and itchy ears.
  • It's a safe, all natural botanical solution.
  • It is gentle to the ear.
  • Will help soften earwax for easier removal and less damage to the keratin layer of skin in the ear canal.
  • Has mild antibacterial, antifungal and antiyeast properties.
  • Helps to reduce possible discomfort of wearing hearing aids caused by unhealthy ears.

MiraCell helps solve many skin conditions. Why? Your skin does the healing.

MiraCell supports your skin's ability to renew itself wherever you have skin because each MiraCell ingredient plays a vital role in skin support. MiraCell's blend of pure concentrated extracts means you use very little at a time to be effective and it lasts a long time. MiraCell is 100% active ingredients and is not diluted with water like other products. So wherever you have skin, MiraCell works its magic and more effectively replaces many other products.

MiraCell has been proven highly effective on 35 different skin conditions. They include wrinkles, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, burns, scars, itching ears, itching eyes, blisters, cold sores, dry lips and hands, insect bites, ingrown hairs, rashes, rough skin and even cuticle repair.

You can use MiraCell to making inserting your hearing aids easier. Just place a drop of MiraCell on your finger, rub it around and rub it onto your hearing aid but be careful not to get any in the openings of your hearing aids.

You can also use MiraCell when you have aching or itching ears. Simply drop MiraCell gently into your ear canal. Tip your head slightly and let the MiraCell run down into your ear.

You can purchase MiraCell through Hearing Aid Institute.

WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN TO CHILDREN

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" Here are some of the answers they got.

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her, even when his hands got arthritis to." - Rebecca 8

"When someone loves you the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." - Billy 4.

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs." - Terri 4.

"Love is whats in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." - Bobby 7.

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt and then he wears it everyday." - Noelle 7.

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." - Tommy 6.

"Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken." - Elaine 5

"Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is hansomer than Robert Redford." - Chris 7.

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." - Marry Ann 4.

"You really shouldn't say I love you unless you mean it. But if you mean it you should say it alot. People forget." - Jessica 8.

Now the final one, a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the may cry, the little boy went into the gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

The Funnies
Jeff Foxworthy on Montana

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling 18 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that food will swim by, you might live in Montana.

If you are proud that your region makes the national news 96 nights a year because Cut Bank is the coldest spot in the Nation, you might live in Montana.

If your local Dairy Queen is closed from November through March, you might live in Montana.

If you have worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you might live in Montana.

If your town has an equal number of bars and churches, you might live in Montana.

You know you are a true Montanan when...

"Vacation" means going east or west on I-90 or Highway 2 for the weekend.
You measure distance in hours.
You know several people who have hit a deer more than once.
You often switch heat to A/C and back again in the same day.
You can drive 65 miles per hour through two feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching.
You see people wearing camouflage at social events (including weddings). You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.
You carry jumper cables in your car and your girlfriend knows how to use them.
You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.
Driving is better in winter because the potholes are filled with snow.
Your idea of creative landscaping is a statue of a deer next to your blue spruce.
You know all four seasons... winter, winter, still winter and road construction
You were unaware that there is a legal drinking age.
Down South to you means Wyoming or Nebraska.
A brat is something you eat.
Your neighbor throws a party to celebrate his new barn.
You go out to a tail gate party every Friday.
Your 4th of July picnic was moved indoors due to frost.
You have more miles on your snow blower than your car.
You find 0 degrees "a little chilly."
