Hearing Aid Institute
"I am 87 years old and like to hear everything around me. NU-EAR gives you new life! You also get a new family to help you with your hearing problems."
-- Willis D. of Great Falls
A huge welcome from all of us at the Hearing Aid Institute!
You might be surprised to know that hearing loss is the nation's number one most untreated health problem—especially for people over 50. In fact, hearing loss is the most prevalent condition behind arthritis and high blood pressure. The reason is simple. Hearing loss is like watching your children grow. It's often difficult to see the changes that seem obvious to others. Documented studies prove that when hearing is enhanced through technology, a person's quality of life improves significantly. These changes include better emotional stability, improved personal relationships, more intimacy, a greater feeling of control, better health, less stress and an improved sense of well-being
At Hearing Aid Institute, we know that better hearing is a wise investment. We've been helping people live fuller, more active lives since 1944.
Over the years, we've become the area's largest provider of hearing assistance. In fact, we currently serve over 7,000 hearing impaired individuals
We have offices throughout Montana, in Great Falls, Butte, Missoula, Bozeman, Helena, and Billings. Through our unique network of facilities, we can offer complete hearing testing and repair services to patients scattered throughout the vast regions Montana
If you live in a major population center, you'll find a full-time, full-service office near you. If you live in a smaller community or outlying area, our service centers are available to meet your needs each month. This ensures you'll have convenient access to a qualified and licensed hearing aid dispenser--even if you live in the most remote region.
At our service centers, appointments are never necessary and most service is free.
We encourage you to drop by no matter what brand of instruments you wear or where they were purchased. While you wait, we'll clean, adjust and perform minor repairs on your instruments free-of-charge, regardless of the age or warranty status of the instrument. We do this as a community service. Only when an out-of-warranty hearing instrument has a problem serious enough to be sent back to the manufacturer or to an outside repair lab, is there ever a charge.
The Hearing Aid Institute has over 25 service centers.
If you would like to schedule a hearing screening or you have questions, you may use our Feedback Form.
We pride ourselves on employing a large number of well-trained consultants to ensure consistent staffing at all our facilities
Each of our consultants is state licensed and the majority, nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
We provide them with full audiometric testing equipment and all the spare parts, supplies and tools that may be required to service your hearing instruments. So no matter where you go, wheather it be to one of our offices, to one of our numerous service centers or even in the privacy and comfort of your own home, your hearing needs will be taken care of
The Hearing Aid Institute is a locally managed hearing care provider.
We are not a franchise. This means we can work with many top manufacturers. Because we cover a large geographic area, quality and reliability are essential to us. Otherwise, we would be overwhelmed by the service needed to adjust or repair defective or poorly fit products. As a result, we dispense on the highest quality instruments appropriate for each individual's need.
Our patients experience great satisfaction with the products we fit. In fact, less than five percent return our hearing aids as compared to the overall national return rate of 21 percent.
NU-EAR Electronics is our preferred technology partner.
Not only does NU-EAR manufacture the highest quality, state-of-the-art hearing instruments, they recognize the importance of hearing in the enjoyment of your active lifestyle. The technological solutions NU-EAR delivers helps our patients gain the greatest pleasure from every experience. In addition, they stand behind each of their products in a way that is second to none. NU-EAR is the premium division of the world's largest hearing instrument manufacturer and we are proud to be chosen as their exclusive dealer in Montana.
To complete our product line, Hearing Aid Institute also offers custom hearing protection devices for shooters, pilots and musicians.
At Hearing Aid Institute, we go the extra mile so you don't have to.
With our BatteryMartTM plan you can purchase fresh, premium hearing instrument batteries at less than half the price of most retail outlets--and you can purchase them at any of our offices or service centers or, if you prefer, through the mail.
Have a question about our service center schedules? Need help with a problem? Want to place a battery or catalog order?
It's simple. Just call us at our toll-free patient support line, 800-331-6009 anywhere in the US and we'll be happy to assist you
Every quarter, we publish The Hearing Herald. Inside this newsletter you'll find informative articles, useful tips, our service center schedule, ever-popular puzzle and special offers on products and supplies.
Because education is important to us at Hearing Aid Institute, we offer free presentations and hearing screenings at health fairs, group meetings, retirement homes and senior centers.
Our satisfied patients are our most valuable asset.
Because of this, we enroll all those who refer their friends and family to us in our Ambassadors Club. And we reward them with high quality gifts for their time and effort.
Over the years, Hearing Aid Institute's methods of operation commitment to dispensing only high quality products and ability to provide consistent, reliable service over such a large geographic area have made us the best in the business.
